Liam Cox
Civil / Geotechnical Engineer
I have been in the civil engineering industry for 10 years. I have a bachelor's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering (with Honours) from Monash University with extensive experience in civil design, construction phase services, and geotechnical engineering.
While working in a number of local government engineering roles with Latrobe City Council, I saw a number of projects from inception through to completion and gained specialist skills in traffic engineering, design of roads and drainage, and landfills management.
As a consulting engineer with Professional Services Organisation GHD, I offered project management and project engineering services. I have worked as part of and managed numerous multi-disciplinary teams.
As a consulting Geotechnical Engineer with testing and professional services company Civiltest, I manage many and varied projects as well as providing technical services for geotechnical assessments and designs.
As a consultant I have contributed to projects for SA Water, Goulburn-Murray Water, Lower Murray Water, Department of Sustainability and Environment, Barwon Water Alliance, Parks Victoria, Gippsland Water, Essential Water, and others.
This work has placed me in a wide range of working environments, from corporate and client offices, to major project construction sites, to the storm ravaged Grampians.
